Set within a mature woodland landscape in Greenwich, Connecticut, the design establishes a clear hierarchy of outdoor spaces that strengthen the relationship between architecture and site. A carefully choreographed arrival sequence leads to a formal arrival court and entry garden, while a series of terraces, lawns, and outdoor living spaces extend the home's interior program into the landscape. Beyond the residence, a network of woodland paths connects natural clearings, gathering spaces, and a restored pond environment, allowing the existing forest to become an active part of everyday life. The landscape relies on native planting communities, natural stone, and simple, enduring materials to create a cohesive and lasting expression of place.
