Inspired by the water elements and seasonal nature that define Lido Beach, this outdoor space is part of both the home and the landscape itself.

Located in Lido Beach, Brooklyn, this residence is inspired by the nearby waterfront landscape. The front garden features a selection of coastal perennials, displaying the seasonal qualities of native asters, roses, and seaside goldenrod. Past the gate, the dining area and fireplace lounge are framed by bayberries and amelanchier, offering peace and privacy from the adjacent street. 

A large deck wraps around the home to connect the pool, spa, and sundeck to the home’s interior. Running water from the stone fountain enhances the sense of intimacy in the garden. In this way, these outdoor spaces feel like an extension of the home, one that quietly echoes the surrounding natural landscape.
